The domestic season may be over but, for some of football’s biggest stars, it’s not time to head for the beach just yet.
Last season’s rearranged European Championship meant that certain stars had limited time off, before another demanding campaign at club level that has left many salivating at the prospect of a well-earned break.

Being a top star is a privilege so, for some players, jetting off on international duty will be a fresh chance to show the football world exactly what they have to offer.
With World Cup qualifiers, UEFA Nations League fixtures and international friendlies coming up, there’s plenty of action for fans to get stuck into in the coming week.
Here’s what a selection of football’s biggest stars will be getting up to in the coming weeks.
Harry Kane
The Tottenham striker has got a very busy couple of weeks coming up.
After being called up for the England squad, Kane could feature in four Nations League fixtures against some top opponents.
Starting with a trip to Hungary, Gareth Southgate’s side face Germany and Italy, before facing Hungary once again on home turf.

Andy Robertson
There’s no rest for the wicked as far as the full-back is concerned.
With Liverpool’s Champions League final against Real Madrid this weekend, Scotland captain Robertson will then face a crucial World Cup qualifier against Ukraine.
Like that wasn’t enough, he’ll then face Armenia twice and the Republic Of Ireland in the Nations League.

Robert Lewandowski
The prolific striker could be set for a busy summer in more than one way.
As well as facing four matches with Poland in their UEFA Nations League group, he’s also facing the prospect of a hectic time on the transfer front.
Barcelona have been linked with the player and it’ll be interesting to see if the deal comes to fruition.

Gareth Bale
The Welsh wonder is facing an uncertain future in the game as his time with Real Madrid comes to an end.
While pondering what the future holds for him at club level, Bale faces a busy couple of weeks with Wales as they prepare for no less than five fixtures.
A World Cup qualifier is crammed between four Nations League fixtures and, given the 32-year-old’s track record in big matches for his country, this run of games is one not to be missed.

Christian Eriksen
The midfielder has enjoyed a wonderful few months since moving to Brentford and getting his career back on track after his cardiac arrest last summer.
While his club future is unclear with his contract expiring next month, his duties for Denmark will certainly keep him busy.
Fixtures against France, Croatia and two matches against Denmark in the Nations League will be a big test and Eriksen will be hoping to continue a wonderful few months on the international scene.

Cristiano Ronaldo
It’s all change at Old Trafford this summer and Cristiano Ronaldo will be preparing to play a big role under Erik ten Hag next term.
For now, his focus will be on Portugal.
Tricky Nations League fixtures against Spain, Switzerland and the Czech Republic will give him the chance to end a frustrating campaign on a positive note.
